The Perl Conference 2017 took place last week in DC, between June 18 and June 23. This was one of the two yearly Perl conferences (formerly known as YAPC). Some of you might have been there and over the course of 5 days (pre and post conference tutorials included) got a chance to see some great talks, mingle, network with some awesome people and of course, learn more about Perl.
For all of you who attended we urge you to let everybody know how it went. Write a blog post, a few tweets, something on Facebook, Medium, blogs.perl.org or just about anything else.
We’ll even open our blog up for you if you want to use it. Just let us know in a comment and we’ll make a guest account.
So far only two articles about the conference have been posted:
Kivanc Yazan, Software Engineer at ZipRecruiter - Highlights from TPC 2017
Dave Jacoby, Software developer for Purdue University's Genomics Core Lab - Feeling "Tipsy": The Perl Conference 2017 Day 1
Dave Jacoby - Three Little Words: The Perl Conference 2017 Day 2
We want to compile all the post conference reviews and article into one place so it’s easier to get through. If you come across an let us know and we’ll add them here.
Meanwhile, if you didn’t get a chance to go to the Perl Conference::NA you can get videos from it on their Youtube Channel.
On a side note, don’t forget that the European Perl Conference, in Amsterdam, is not that far away, tickets are available right now, in 4 categories. Check out their website for more.Tweet
